Program Description

Event Details

Tweens will be planting succulent plants in the landscape of the library, near the dinosaur topiary, to "feed the dinosaur" with plants. Gardening can help reduce stress, provide tweens with a fun activity that's hands-on and engaging without technology, and it can be a great activity to foster meaningful conversations. They will also receive a succulent plant to take home with them, as well as instructional and informative materials about their plants. Plants and materials are generously donated by River Street Flowerland (https://riverstreetflowerland.com/).

This program is intended for patrons 4th-7th grade, and it is free. Registration is required.
