Pride Book Club - When Brooklyn Was Queer

Please join us for a discussion on "When Brooklyn Was Queer" by Hugh Ryan. This book explores Brooklyn’s vibrant and forgotten queer history and shows how the formation of this borough is inextricably linked to the stories of the incredible people who created the Brooklyn we know today: drag kings, transgender men, black lesbians and brothel owners. Through their stories, Ryan brings Brooklyn's queer past to life. 

Registration and book pick-up begins Monday, December 16th. A Zoom option will be available for individuals who would like to attend virtually.
