Pride Book Club - Roses, in the Mouth of a Lion

Please join us for a discussion of the lesbian coming-of-age novel Roses, in the Mouth of a Lion by Bushra Rehman. Pakistani-American Razia grows apart from her best friend, begins a same-sex relationship at her new school, and reckons with her identity and family dynamics in 1980s Queens.
