Please join us for a discussion of Advocate: A Graphic Novel Memoir of Family, Community, and the Fight for Environmental Justice by Eddie Ahn. Environmental justice lawyer Ahn decided to use his law degree for activism. He shares his story of rejecting his immigrant family’s expectations and reckoning with burnout and racism. Copies of the book will be provided at the reference desk. Snacks and drinks will be served. Registration and book pick-up begin Monday 7/29.
